Excellent traditional Danish spot for smorrebrod, only open for lunch. Memorable, irreverent service. Get the shrimp pyramid for the presentation, the fried herring and onions for the classic flavor. Make sure to book in advance!

The Barking Dog's spirits shop. Not just a remarkably curated selection, especially mezcal and tequila (much like their bar), but almost everything available to taste, and to buy in partial bottles (10cl and 20cl I believe). Wish we could have this concept in the states.
One of Copenhagen's oldest butcheries. The butchers here all wear old bowler hats. The smokey scent of cured meat hangs in the air. Excellent product. I recommend.

Allan (the owner) creates such a welcoming atmosphere here for locals and visitors alike, you simply need to stop by. Perch at the bar for your espresso or pourover, or take it to one of the wood tables that dot the intimate space. A vintage chopper takes pride of place on one of the walls, drawings from his guitar-building days on another.
