Love this classy- quasi-dive. Sunday night jazz (could also be called early-Monday morning jazz) was as impressive for the packed crowd of very cool people as for the music. You are welcome.

Some of the best views of London in my favourite park (Hampstead Heath) - wild and beautiful. A bit of a trek up there on the northern line, but wander around Hampstead afterwards and feel like you've stepped out of London.

Excellent Peruvian tucked in a basement on Marylebone high street. Well conceived menu - sea bream ceviche is a must, as is the melt-in-mouth lomo saltado (beef cheek). plantains with a malt sauce were also a hit. Service was sporadic - seems like they're still getting used to newfound trendiness.

Cozy cocktail bar in a vintage style, friendlier than your average speakeasy. Their interpretation of a prairie oyster is a remarkable experience. Enjoyed the Terroir here with Eunji Choi.

Notting Hill location of the celebrated Mediterranean deli and cafe. Yotam Ottolenghi crafts incredibly fresh and delicious salads, savory dishes and desserts. Their cookbook gets plenty of use in my kitchen too. Via @ottolenghi on Instagram.

Gymkhana far surpassed anything I thought Indian food could be! The tasting menu was divine. Favorites were the kid goat, chick pea and potato, pomegranate raita, and an otherworldly saffron pistachio ice cream concoction!

On Hunan, Giles Coren once wrote, "I have long accepted that it may be the best Chinese restaurant in the world." I'm not inclined to argue.

"One of the best meals of my life. There's no menu - you just let the chef know your likes/dislikes and out comes a parade of 12-18 dishes, each better than the last. A once in a lifetime experience. " - via @lily

The latest Balasz hotel, in a restored Marylebone firehouse. Home to Nuno Mendes' latest restaurant, easily the buzziest London opening of 2014. Absolutely stunning spaces, arguably the most beautiful hotel interior I've experienced (with a shock to the wallet to match).

Fantastic farmers market, along with a variety of lunch stalls and cafes. Absolutely must visit. I used to get groceries here every weekend, just mind the endless crowds of food tourists stuffing their faces...Full market is open Thursday 11-5, Friday 12-6, Saturday 8-5.
